You're running Eclipse 3.4.2, CDT 5.0.2, *and* you installed Photran 
from the wiki link (4.0.5.I200904101256)?

We have not posted this on the Web update site; you have to install it 
from the downloaded zip file ("local update site").  The NPE fix is the 
only change in the I200904101256 build, so my guess is that it's 
installing the older 4.0.5 version, perhaps from the Web update site.
