I think this is a good point.  Also, if you decide to assign a bug to yourself, please add phoenix.ui-inbox@xxxxxxxxxxx to the CC so that everyone can continue receiving e-mail updates.

People don't necessarily watch bugzilla components, but instead they watch e-mail addressed to the default component owner.

Nathan, if that is the bug you complain about than we never had a chance
to get any notifications. You are the reporter and you submitted the bug
with you as the owner. Thus, the Community/Website default assignee
never got a chance to see that bug. That's why no mail was sent to
anybody watching the default assignee.

When moving bugs between components. Please make sure to check "Reassign
bug to default assignee and QA contact of selected component" if you
want to trigger the default assignee and all its watchers.
