Re: [pde-build-dev] Bundle Dependency Question
|
Hi Thomas,
Thanks for your response. Yes
- I have tried Buckminster a few times and my brain still hurts. ;o) To
be honest - every time I read about it, I think "this is exactly what
we need!". But every time I tried to use it, I got errors and
could not even get the Hello World examples to work. It seems like
a brilliant package, but I still cannot understand how to use it. And
given the trouble I had following the examples on a few separate occasions
it just seemed that it was not ready yet. As much as I would like
to help out the project and actually devote the time to figure it out -
I simply didn't (don't?) have the time. It also seemed to be changing
quite a bit still and I figured it would be quite risky to starting coding
on top of it at that point.
You can find my various posts to the
newsgroup. I imagine a lot of the problems I had before have been
worked out but at the time I just had to move on to finding other solutions.
Thanks for the reply,
Mark.
