RE: [pde-build-dev] Subversion ant task and Fetch generator plugin
|
Hi
Pascal,
I have
just registered an open source project on sourceforge.net.
Hopefully it will be accepted in the next two days and then it will take
me a few days to get the content set up.
Hopefully one day it can be put into either the subclipse or subversive
projects.
Putting a link from the pde build web pages and wiki would be
great.

Hi Chris,
This is great news.
Unfortunatly I don't see support for subversion being added in PDE
build directly. Three reasons:
- The
SDK itself has no support for subversion
- It sets a bad precedent, then why would not we have extensions
built in to support clearcase, jazz, etc...
- We don't have repositories to test (ok this one is lame :))
That said I'm happy to add a link to your
subversion support from the PDE build webpage and wiki.
As for the ideal location of this code, I think it
should eventually be in one of the subversion project.
Regards,
PaScaL

task and Fetch generator plugin |

Hi All
I have created a subversion ant task and Fetch generator
plugin for use with pde build.
I was wondering if there was any interest
in it being added to the pde build project?
I have already raised this
on the subclipse project group, however it is still only a proposal so they
don't seem ready for it yet.
