p2-dev isn't a newsgroup. It's a mailing list. Eclipse doesn't replicate the mailing lists to newsgroups.

 

And, no, there currently isn't a p2 newsgroup. Mailing list is meant for contributors and people close to the code. Until p2 matures, I'd say that will be the bulk of the traffic concerning p2, so for now the p2-dev list is sufficient IMHO.

I am trying to set things up to read this newsgroup using my newsgroup reader (outlook express).  I can find many of the Eclipse newsgroups at news.eclipse.org but not p2-dev.  Is it supposed to be there?
