Yep, the default is 8080, but the port
can be changed to whatever you want in the orion.ini file (which I guess
Tom did here).  If he was pointing his browser at a different port
from the one running Orion, he would get a different kind of failure from
the one he described here.

At the risk of saying something embarrassingly dumb, I always thought the
default was localhost:8080, not 8081.
