Hello all,

I'd like to move the following recommended (R) build pages and
repositories to our archives (archive.eclipse.org)  :

R20170307180635 Tue, 7 Mar 2017 -- 18:06 (UTC) Neon.3
R20160520211859 Fri, 20 May 2016 -- 21:18 (UTC) Neon
R20160221192158 Sun, 21 Feb 2016 -- 19:21 (UTC) Mars.2+ (bug 487833)
R20151221205849 Mon, 21 Dec 2015 -- 20:58 (UTC) Mars.2
R20151118145958 Wed, 18 Nov 2015 -- 14:59 (UTC) Mars.1 Patches (bug 482130)
R20150821153341 Fri, 21 Aug 2015 -- 15:33 (UTC) Mars.1 (and Neon M2)
R20150519210750 Tue, 19 May 2015 -- 21:07 (UTC) Mars
R20150124073747 Sat, 24 Jan 2015 -- 07:37 (UTC) Luna SR2
R20140525021250 Sun, 25 May 2014 -- 02:12 (UTC) Luna, Luna SR1
R20140114142710 Tue, 14 Jan 2014 -- 14:27 (UTC) Kepler SR2
R20130827064939 Tue, 27 Aug 2013 -- 06:49 (UTC) Kepler SR1
R20130517111416 Fri, 17 May 2013 -- 11:14 (UTC) Kepler
R20130118183705 Fri, 18 Jan 2013 -- 18:37 (UTC) Juno SR2
R20120526062928 Sat, 26 May 2012 -- 06:29 (UTC) Juno, Juno SR1

This would involve :

- Moving the content of each of these pages to archive.eclipse.org

- Replacing the location on download.eclipse.org with a composite
repository pointing to the archived location [1] so existing consumers
could continue referencing the repository, if still needed.

- Hiding the build from the downloads page (though it would still be
accessible) so as to discourage its use, in favour of newer recommended
builds

Is there any opposition to such changes ? This won't prevent those
using older builds from doing so, especially, if they need to continue
to support much older releases, but should encourage using newer ones
where possible.

sounds good to me
