Sound reasonable? doable? I'm open to suggestions, but, since we are "bottom of the food chain" we need to stabilize and be finished earlier than others.
I think traditionally we try and finish in time for projects to have a "finished" Orbit starting with their RC2 builds, and since RC2 +0 is 5/25, and since we are effectively a -1 project, that puts us at 5/18.
Naturally, we'd expect fewer and fewer changes the closer we get to that date.
Which leads to a good reminder! M7 +0 is 5/4, so by the same -1 logic, our Orbit M7 should be this Friday, 4/27. If anyone has trouble making that date for a critically important M7 deliverable, please say so. Now that the platform is building on build.eclipse.org, there is a little less delay in "mirroring" so it would be less risky to extend the deadline a day or two ... but, I'd still like to hit Friday, unless an Orbit committer says they need an extra day or two.
Our deadline for RC1 will be 5/11, by which I'd hope we'd be "nearly finished".
Please say, if I have misread/computed the dates.
