the build trigger (Poll SCM) was going crazy. A build was started every 5 minutes. I have deactivated it last night. I have now activated it again. Let's see what it does.
Ah OK.
It can happen that a file get corrupted so SCM always thinks the repo is out-of-date, and then polls and build every time.
In that case, cleaning Jenkins workspace generally remove the issue.
This just happened again. I cleared the workspace and forced Git plugin to fetch again the full repo but it did not change anything. Also the revision is not changed ( 6b1665c712cd8cdd998ef8ae6cdac3b24a134783 ), build is triggered...
I don't have a clue about the cause of this issue yet. I disabled the Poll cron as you did, the time we understand and fix the issue.
In the meantime, build became red, I think it is better to get it back to green before working on the Cron issue.
