Re: [mylyn-integrators] <beginner> How do I show task name in the tasklist?
|
Thanks, Aveen. Setting the key attribute is a good idea.
I found what's missing from my end - I didn't do the TaskMapper.applyTo. That's why although I set the summary attribute but it's not reflected in the list.
Thanks,
Jessie

Hi Jessie,
Well, setting the summary as mentioned in the older e-mail did the trick for me. On the other hand, sometimes when I had just opened a new project/task-collection, the name of the task didn't appear right away, but it appeared when I opened the task (double-clicked on it). I guess it was a loading problem. But after that first time, the name always appeared as it should!
I also learned that you can set what is to be displayed BEFORE the ":" sign by setting the "key" attribute. For example, my task look like:
<the task's order in the list> : <The task's name>
Good luck,
Aveen

Hi,
I searched the archive and found someone had exactly the same question I have
(as below) but no one reply to it. My task is showing as: "PR000470: ". How
do I make the task name shows up after the ":" so that it makes more sense?
Thanks in advance,
Jessie
