If I understand you correctly, you can do this via subtasks.  Subtask structure is specified by the task repository connector.  For example, Bugzilla uses the “blocks / depends on” relationship.

Subject: [mylyn-integrators] 3-levels-task view

Hello again,

Is it possible to have a 3-level taskviewer in Mylyn? As it is now, there is only a query that contains tasks, but is it possible to make a query that contains a tex container_task that contains tasks without the need to write my own task-viewer?

Thanks in advance,

Avin
