Sorry that you never got a reply for this, and I hope that you’re
able to build against the 3.0 APIs now. No, we don’t currently support a query
mechanism over local tasks. But we are considering it for 3.1, so please
consider commenting on the following bug with your requirements.

We intend to write a connector for our repository, however
with release of 3.0 nearing we wait. For now we are trying to use local tasks.
Any suggestions if there is a way to query the local tasks, and to
programmatically hide or show them...
This will let us move ahead while waiting for new version..
and writing a connector..
