First of all it seems like there is something went wrong with
download.eclipse.org/tools/mylyn/update/weekly/e3.3 because Update
Manager don't see any new updates at that location.
Also, my impression from release and Mylyn versioning discussions was
that integrators won't be upgrading to e3.4 releases until some time in
2008. Given that, it does make sense to keep project HEAD at e3.3 level
and keep e3.4 code in the branch to make it easier for integrators to
work with latest e3.3 code without struggling with branches.

This is using the proposed new update site structure which more closely
mirrors the Platform's builds:

/e3.2 (Mylyn 2.0)

/e3.4 (Mylyn 2.1)
/extras (Mylyn 2.1)
/milestone (M-builds)
// same as above
/weekly (I-builds)
/e3.3 (once we get automated builds)
/e3.4 (HEAD)
/extras (HEAD)
/nightly (N-builds, once we get automated builds)
// same as above
In other words the "dev" site will be split into Nightly and Integration
build sites. Regarding the status of the Eclipse 3.4 branch, the Eclipse
3.4-based builds will install fine into Eclipse 3.3 but the PDE integration
plug-in will fail to start. More background on builds is at:
