Once thing to watch out for is that you need to use the ssh connection
as a remote to push:

  ssh://git.eclipse.org/gitroot/mylyn/org.eclipse.mylyn.docs.git

I noticed some problems with permissions on Eclipse.org yesterday so
there might be some temporary issues preventing pushes at the moment.
