There should be no need to wipe out previous installs, and we verified that 2.2.0.I20071102-1800 works for updating from older versions.  The updated extras were made available yesterday too, but that's unrelated.  If anyone is having any trouble updating please comment or file a bug. 

ALL: we will be cutting a new dev build today due to a small regression in our having made the background synchronization way lazier.  If you have the latest build make sure to do a full synch periodically, because not all your incomings will show with the background synch.  Early this afternoon an updated build will be available.
