Mik,
Can you please run FindBugs on the entire Mylar codebase and clean appropriate warnings? I tried it on few core projects and it found quite few issues that require attention. Though all of them should be really easy to fix...
You can install latest FindBugs plugin for Eclipse from update site at
http://findbugs.cs.umd.edu/eclipse-daily
