Re: [mosquitto-dev] Version 1.5 source available

Daedaluz has made a pull request containing completions for the auth plugin interface. There are some missing pieces.
Roger Light has according to announces set the goal to publish a mqtt v5 compliant broker / library in the end of august.

Is there an update to this and the future plans? I see Pierre raised the auth plugin issue of not being able to access client->username because it's part of an internal struct? I was looking at this myself.

And Tatsuzo has [1], a critical memory issue?

Also, it's not noted in the release notes [2], but Linux builds now use E_POLL by default? This seems to be a major thing, but if it's not announced (and perhaps not enabled in to-be-released builds), are there issues with it?

Regards,

Wiebe
