[mosquitto-dev] Bridge reconnection retained messages

Hi,

 

I have problem like in this test example:

 

Mosquitto instance M1 is configured to run on ip1:1883.

Mosquitto instance M2 is configured to run on ip2:1883 with both direction bridge to ip1:1883 (M1).

 

M1 starts after M2.

After reconnection, M2 receives retained messages from M1, but M1 doesn’t receive retained messages from M2.

 

Any indication what could be the problem?

I’m using mosquitto 1.3.2.
