Team, M6 is now behind us and M7 is
rapidly approaching. I just went through the “must do” list for
Galileo again – thanks to those of you that have responded. While going
through the issues, I realized that I mistakenly identified some of them (namely
254219, 254323, and 254351) as “must
do” items when they were really “should do” items. Kudos to
the components that complied anyway! At this point, we still have four
Galileo “must do” items from previous milestones outstanding for MDT.
Please, if you have not done so, make an attempt to address these items for
your component. Of course, it would be ideal if you could address the “should

I’ve gone through the outstanding issues for M5 and M6 and set their severity/assignee

– APIs (M5) Only XSD has commented on this so far… All MDT

– Capabilities (M6) Only XSD has commented on this so far… All MDT
components must declare capabilities for their UI contributions (assuming they

– Localization – Babel (M6) None of the MDT components have been registered with Babel
to date… I’ll forward an email with details on how to do this. Each
component should add their map file under the ‘modeling.mdt’

– Localization – Babel PPT (M6) None of the MDT components have reported on the results of

– Localization – UI Freeze (M6) All MDT components must have frozen their UI as of M6, and
must assert as much in the bug. Component leads, I’m counting on you to do your part
to ensure that, to the extent possible, the above items are addressed so that
