Hi François,
Thanks for the comments, here a my answers.
Could you add in the patch:
·
A description field in the pom.xml
ð
Will do it! I only added a description in the Manifest for the moment.
·
Check if you need to add an update in the oomph section?
ð
Will do it! Oomph configuration will require an update.
·
Why starting at version 3.0.0 ?
ð
Basically because, Papyrus Oxygen is pretty much called Papyrus 3.0.0.
ð
Do you have a better suggestion?
·
There are several missing EPL license in the header of files
ð
Yes but I won’t change any line of code in this patch, except for
o
renaming packages
o
renaming the string in Activator
o
add description in Manifest.MF and pom.xml
ð
(The license should indicate the author/company in the copyright and It may take a lot of times)

Benoit

Objet : [PROVENANCE INTERNET] [mdt-papyrus.dev] Papyrus plan for managing GMFT dropout of therelease train
Hi,
As everyone know GMFT Project announced that it will stop contributing to the release train.
A short analysis showed that the part of Papyrus that is currently contributed to the release train has a strong dependency to
org.eclipse.gmf.tooling.runtime
We tried to include the plugin in the Project GMF-Runtime/Notation (See [1])
but Papyrus is the only one with dependency to GMFT
so it doesn’t really make sense to integrate the plugin in GMF-Runtime/Notation for only one project.
The chosen option is to fork the plugin an reintegrate it in Papyrus to stay in the train.
The new namespace will be
org.eclipse.papyrus.infra.gmfdiag.tooling.runtime
The first patch may be found here [2]
These are sad news but this is the best plan we have.
If anyone has an objection/suggestion/improvement… ?
It’s the last call before merging the new plugin and regenerating all the diagrams.
Regards,
Benoit
