I suggested something similar in June last year:

At that moment, Camille warned about issues with the grid implementation and therefore didn’t prefer to make the change.

I don’t know whether on the implementation field something changed wrt this, but it is probably worth to check.

 

As far as Sébastien’s suggestion is concerned, I’m of course +1

Dear all,

 

I would like to change the default settings of Papyrus for the diagrams rulers and grid:

-          Show Grid, Snap to Grid and Snap to Shapes set to true.

Is was the choice done for Papyrus-IM. On my side, I also work this way and I do think it enable to denote nice diagram quicker.
