[mdt-papyrus.dev] Vote for Committer status for Shuai Li was started by Sebastien Gerard

modeling.mdt.papyrus Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Sebastien Gerard has
nominated Shuai Li as a Committer on the modeling.mdt.papyrus project. The
reason given is as follows:

Dear all,

I would like to nomiate Shuai Li as a new committer to Papyrus. Here are
the info about him:
==Short bio==
Shuai Li is a research engineer at the CEA LIST. He works on the Papyrus
project and his contributions aim at adding new features and integrating
new technologies. Among his major contributions, he enhanced the search UI
[1] of Papyrus by adding the possibility to search for stereotypes and
their properties [2]. He also improved navigation in Papyrus [3] between
related elements: there is a new extensible navigation menu [4] and
automatic navigation [5] between related elements is enabled. Finally he
helped integrate, into Papyrus, tools from the Eclipse eco-system, such as
EMF Compare [6], Nebula Rich Text Editor [7], and EMF IncQuery.

Shuai obtained his PhD degree in 2014 with highest honors, from the
University of Western Brittany. During his thesis, he worked on scheduling
analysis of TDMA-based radio protocols, modeled with UML MARTE. His
research interests range from Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) to real-time
scheduling, and system architecture. He worked at THALES Communications &
Security during his PhD, where he contributed to European research projects
on MDE, focusing on automatic test generation, code generation, and
non-functional analysis. He developed prototypes for these projects by
using the Eclipse modeling framework.

Shuai is actively involved in the Eclipse community. He helped run a booth
for Papyrus at EclipseCon France 2015 and he exposed Papyrus at the
Unconference. He also plans to give a talk at Eclipse Day China 2015.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 19 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Shuai Li must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

    http://portal.eclipse.org/

The project Committers eligible to vote are:

    Mickael ADAM
    Juan Cadavid
    Arnaud Cuccuru
    Christian Damus
    Arthur Daussy
    Saadia Dhouib
    Cedric Dumoulin
    Tristan FAURE
    Raphael Faudou
    Sebastien Gerard
    Camille Letavernier
    Vincent Lorenzo
    Benoit Maggi
    Chokri Mraidha
    Florian Noyrit
    Ansgar Radermacher
    Remi Schnekenburger
    Patrick Tessier
    Mathieu Velten

*NOTE*: Successful elections are left open for a maximum of 120 days to
allow for processing of paperwork. After that time the election will be
expired, regardless of its current status. Should papework processing on
the part of the candidate take more time than allowed, a new election will
have to be held.
