Note that there is only one point that will be a concern for us:

 “The parent pom for features and plugins must reside in the parent directory”


Aw, gee.  They couldn’t give us a Tycho-ParentModule: attribute in the MANIFEST.MF to optionally locate the parent?  Or at least a minimal POM that has only a reference to the parent POM?  :-(
