Re: [mdt-papyrus.dev] Papyrus Extra update site

Hi Benoit,

Ø  Also, Alf property View is not following the same version as other.

Ø  Is it a mistake ? If not I am interesting in downgrading Papyrus Ecore Uml

ALF-Extra has been released after Mars M7, in a nightly build (Not even officially released yet), so it never had to be “downgraded”. If Papyrus Ecore has been released in 1.0.0 in Luna, then it shouldn’t be downgraded. Otherwise, if only milestones have been published so far, it’s still an option to change the versions (Although there should be a notice on the mailing list/forum because this will cause update issues to everyone using Mars builds with extra)

Hi Camille,

Great Job, it looks perfect [1].

I just found that the incubation is missing in Papyrus Ecore Uml Feature

ð  I will rename it to “Papyrus for Domain model”

Also, Alf property View is not following the same version as other.

Is it a mistake ? If not I am interesting in downgrading Papyrus Ecore Uml

Regards,

Benoit

Hi all,

I’ve pushed a new layout for the Papyrus Extra update site [1].

This is currently in the state of “proposal”, so please don’t hesitate to propose any better layout :) The idea is to discourage people from installing “All” extra components at once, which often causes chaos, since not all extra components are stable, and they sometimes don’t play well with each other or simply clutter the UI by adding too many menus at the wrong position.

So the update site has been reordered to allow finer grained installations (Similar to what’s available in the Papyrus discovery site). I’ve used categories for grouping components with multiple features, because we don’t always have a top-level feature for all sets of extra components, but that’s maybe not the best approach

Any feedback is welcome! The extra build is currently running, so you should be able to try the new layout in ~15 minutes
