Re: [mdt-ocl.dev] M3 bucky build

Adolfo,

Michal Ruzicka (of Cloudsmith) is currently looking into a new solution for promoting builds which will work on the Foundation's build infrastructure; I'll send details once it's ready. As for the missing zip archives, if you look at the EMF build set-up you should be able to determine what needs to be done...

Hi all,

Yesterday, we had our first stable buckminster build promoted and working on Indigo's integration build, so it sounds that we are finally buckminstered ;)

However, there are some problems I have to sort out:

- The promotion is currently made manually, that means copying artifacts from the job's build into the downloads and updates folders. I still need to look into this to automate this task.
- There are other issues like build logs, tests results and such which are not available from the download web page. I'll look into this.
- This also will also imply working on the composite repositories. A pending issue...
- Looking at M2 artifacts from the web page, I've missed two zips: Standalone and AutomatedTests. I'll look into these artifacts to check what content they have in order to make buckminster builds them as well.

In any case, since this is our first bucky build published, let's see the feedback (problems if any) we obtain from the community / downstream projects. I think that it's important having this (probably no perfect build) to have time to react along the next days/weeks/months.

Regards,
Adolfo.
