Re: [mdt-ocl.dev] Releng status

Hi all,
I've done minor advances during today. Via bugzillas, I think I know which is the problem about why the integration build is not working in its signing phase. It's about the location where the signing takes places which needs to be a different one (the hudson's workspace can't be used for this task). The problem is that since all the build process is executed from common stuff from org.eclipse.dash.common.releng project, I don't know how to tune this up. I tried to run a local run.sh script (org.eclipse.org/releng/hudson/run.sh) which customized the signing directory (signingDir variable), but this hasn't worked: it's still trying to sign in the job's workspace

After several vain tries to "hack" the org.eclipse.dash.common.releng project to use a proper location where signing the zips (as commented in the https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=324170#c10 we should do it in a special shared location) , I suddenly got an idea which consisted in moving all the temp build root to said location (which obviously includes the signing directory). That done, the signing process seems to work again.

Finally after removing the Javadoc generation which caused a failure, let's see if we finally obtain a new Indigo's integration build (I've had to stop the job because it didn't finish to archive artifacts.... I'll leave it working during tonight)

I've also done some advances in the bucky build, which I'm not explaining right now.

Finally, before building and promoting our stable M2 build, I want to comment two things:

1. I know I should build and promote today. However there are not EMF and UML M2 builds at time of writing. So I've decided to wait until tomorrow's morning before doing it. After that, if EMF and UML builds are finally made and we have any problem of integration I'll rebuild an M2a.

2. I'd also want to update some minor changes for our features in the own M2 build. As commented I'm inclined to set up the repository URL  of our features to the before mentioned http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/mdt/ocl/updates/ URL. The version of the all features would then increased to 3.1.0. However I would require a +1 in the following bugzilla (https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=322757)

If no comments are received for 2, I'll postpone this for M3.

Regards,
Adolfo.
