Ahh, OK then. @Arlen - our infrastructure runs on Suse Linux, not Ubuntu. But when I spoke with Roger, he was confident that Suse would work just fine. Do you know of any specific Ubuntu dependencies? Also, does anyone have a suggestion for the name of this service? "m2m.eclipse.org" sound OK, or does it need its own domain like we did with Orion (orionhub.org) ? Was that an accidental omission in the minutes? Or was the conversation deferred? I'll be glad to comment on the use/setup/management of Mosquito. All, Unfortunately I will not be able to join the call, as I am speaking at a conference. I would suggest adding a conversation about Mosquitto (e.g. an MQTT server-side) and enabling a developer sandbox for M2M on eclipse.org infrastructure. We can provide the infrastructure, but someone (Arlen?) will have to put up the server and babysit it. Our sysadmins will be interested in hearing about the scalability, authentication and security aspects of the sandbox. Thanks. Here is a suggestion of the topics we should cover during our call: - BoF session
- "Model-oriented" talks
- Hobbyist community
- Paho proposal: status, new interested parties
- Koneki update
- EclipseCon 2012
- Agree on the joint IWG talk proposal
- Other talks we should propose?
- Interested parties: update?
- Priorities definition
