I was getting options to Run as -> Maven build, maven clean etc.

But, right now, I don't have that option in any of the maven projects. I am still able to do the Maven -> Update Project , change lifecycle mapping for the m2e and so on. I don't see the Maven build option in Run Configuration as well. Can anyone throw any light on the issue ?

Did you have those options when creating a new simple maven project from eclipse?

 

Checked with the error logs in eclipse, not able to find any info.
