[m2e-users] recommended m2e install steps

Hi there,

 

Anyone can provide me the recommended steps of installation of the m2e plugin. Like which update site(s) with what kind of preconditions and with what kind of orders?

e.g.

 

Sonatype:

1.       Precondition: update GEF (e.g. GEF-Update-3.5.1)

2.       Install m2e from  http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e/

3.       Install m2e-extras from http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e-extras/

 

JBoss:

1.       Make sure check boxes for the following sites are selected in update site
m2eclipse-wtp http://download.jboss.org/jbosstools/updates/m2eclipse-wtp/
Eclipse Project Test Site http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/updates/3.6
The Eclipse Web Tools Platform (WTP) http://download.eclipse.org/webtools/repository/helios

2.       In the Work with field of the Available Software page, select: m2eclipse-wtp updates
