[m2e-users] Confused about what works with what with regards to M2E core

With the release of Eclipse 3.7 we now have M2Eclipse 1.0.0 with the new eclipse package names. You can also download extra extensions Preferences>Maven>Discovery. This is where my confusion begins.

What about all the extensions that used to be at http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e-extras how do these relate to the plugins at http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/releases ?

Is there any sort of compatibility matrix?

Should we even be trying to use the  http://m2eclipse.sonatype.org/sites/m2e-extras with http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/releases?

When using  http://download.eclipse.org/technology/m2e/releases should we only be using  Preferences>Maven>Discovery
