Re: [m2e-dev] Is anyone willing to keep investing in WTP-based editor or should we remove it?

Would you be willing to migrate it to the new 2.0 API maybe as part of a separate repository indie the m2e organization?

Hi,
I would appreciate if the WTP-based editor could be kept for a while longer as optional feature. As the Lemminx-Maven one is not on par yet I like to switch back for the missing features sometimes. As soon as Lemminx-Maven has gained feature-parity I am all in favour for completely removing it.
WDYT?

Hi all,

As we're starting discussion towards 2.0, let's wonder specifically about the textual editor. As you know, as part of our strategy towards reusable Language Servers, most Red Hat committers won't further invest any maintenance in the WTP-based editor. Is there any other community member who would like to keep actively maintaining the WTP editor inside m2e project?
If not, then we'd better just remove it in 2.0.

Any volunteer?
