Re: [m2e-dev] Search for lifecycle mapping as part of import / create workflow

Hi,

FYI, I pushed new changes to the m2eclipse-wtp 0.13.x branch, which makes it compatible with the current m2e-core 0.13.x codebase.
For some reason, the associated Hudson job did not kick in last night, if someone could give it a nudge ;-)
Anyway, once we get a CI build of m2eclipse-wtp, you guys will be able to play with the discovery mechanism for real

regards,

Fred Bricon

PS: I can't access grid.sonatype.org from work (censored by my client proxy), so I won't be able to check it myself.

The only alternative I can think of is to analyse lifecycle mapping in
the background after import wizard was complete and popup new wizard if
there are problems. I am not sure which approach I dislike more, waiting
for import wizard to tell me everything is okay or getting second wizard
popup (likely after I already went to get my coffee).

Not sure the one you are talking about. Any screenshot?

I believe Milos means that should the user be able to skip the discovery
page of the wizard by pressing Finish on the preceeding page.  My
inclination would be to say they should not be able to skip the page, it
seems to me that we would avoid having bugs filed when projects import
with problem markers.
