Re: [lyo-dev] Looking for a way to implement friending between the Lyo Workshop CM App and a Jazz Application

Hi,  the workshop (Lesson 6) goes through the steps of adding the OSLC4JBugzilla adapter as a friend to Rational Team Concert.   All of the UI steps are taken from the RTC side (except for approving the provisional token - that can be done in the delegated UI in RTC or in the Bugzilla OAuth UI).   What you end up with is a "friend" link from RTC to Bugzilla.   I would think the procedure would be similar for DOORS - i.e. you use a UI in that product to set up the relationship.   Is that not the case?  Or are you trying to setup the relationship in the other direction?

This might be a bit beyond the scope of OSLC and Lyo, but let's continue the discussion here short term.  If it veers off into product specifics, we might want to use their forums, etc.

Regards,
Mike

Hello:

We are trying to friend the Lyo Workshop "OSLC4JBugzilla" (see http://wiki.eclipse.org/Lyo/OSLCWorkshop) final application with DOORS 9.5.
It looks like none of them provide GUIs to do so.
The thing to resolve here is the OAuth flow, it sounds to me like we need to follow the flow (send requests to the OAuth URLs and get the results in a new request and so on) in order to create a consumer key.

Is there a recommended way to do it? I will search for documentation about the way the Jazz apps do this.
We were also looking for the place where the OSLC4JBugzilla app store the information of applications that have been registered, does this exist?

So far it looks like the table is maintained in a Java Collection by the OSLC4JBugzilla app.

Thanks.
