[linux-distros-dev] Vote for Committer status for Jeff Johnston has started

technology.linux-distros Committers,
This automatically generated message signals that Andrew Overholt has
nominated Jeff Johnston as a Committer on the technology.linux-distros
project. The reason given is as follows:

Jeff has been working on the autotools project as part of the CDT community
for a while now. He is thinking about contributing it for inclusion in the
Linux Distros project.

In the meantime, while continuing to work on the autotools project, he has
now decided to take over maintainership of the ChangeLog plugin. He has
submitted a major patch to de-couple it from CVS:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=210144

I think he would be a great addition to the project as he is actively
working on multiple projects that are of direct interest to our project.

The vote is being held via the MyFoundation portal: voters *must* use the
portal for the votes to be properly recorded. The voting will continue
until either all 9 existing Committers have voted or until they have been
given enough time to vote, even if they do not do so (defined as at least
one week). Jeff Johnston must receive at least three +1s and no -1s for a
successful election.

Eligible Committers must cast their votes through their My Foundation
portal page (do NOT just reply to this email; your vote will not be
correctly recorded unless you use the portal):

    http://portal.eclipse.org/

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact your project
lead, PMC member, or the EMO <emo@xxxxxxxxxxx>

The project Committers eligible to vote are:
