Hi everyone,

I'm currently in the process of updating the patch that puts an update
site in ~/.eclipse when the eclipse install directory is set read-only.
It would be nice if the people who are interested in seeing this patch
applied upstream would vote for it in bugzilla so that the update site
maintainers know that it's an important enhancement to have. Here's a
