The intent of the wiki is to document JDT/Core *internals*, as stated in
the first sentence there. The target audience for the page are not JDT/Core
programmers per se, I was thinking more about JDT/Core devs like myself and
others newcomers to the team.

That's great! We also have a JDT FAQ page (
http://wiki.eclipse.org/JDT/FAQ#JDT_Extenders )
which is aimed towards everyone who uses JDT APIs. Maybe you can also add
some tips there.

If some information is missing from Eclipse Help, we should add it there.
(So that one source can be advertised to the users)
