Nope, I personally am using Java 5/6 and Galileo (mostly 3.5.2). I've been pecking away at the generics warnings, but haven't had the time to do a bulk commit to fix *all* the warnings at once.
At this point, I've done plenty of test installs in Galileo recently on various platforms (Mac, Linux, Windows), and Galileo's p2 doesn't seem to require a "p2 Update Site".
Also, I just successfully installed the latest IMP build into Helios (3.6M5). At least it doesn't have claim to have any problems with the update site as it is right now.
So if p2 has such a requirement, it's hiding it well. :-) On Mar 16, 2010, at 4:13 AM, Ed Willink wrote: Hi Robert Thanks, I can build now but not install or test, which on Galileo/Helios seems to require a p2 Update Site. See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=303424. [I presume you're still using Ganymede and Java 4 since the IMP source code has numerous Java generic warnings.] Regards Ed Willink On 15/03/2010 14:05, Robert M.
