Re: [imp-dev] New release of IMP available on update site and downloads page

Nope, I personally am using Java 5/6 and Galileo (mostly 3.5.2). I've been pecking away at the generics warnings, but haven't had the time to do a bulk commit to fix *all* the warnings at once.

At this point, I've done plenty of test installs in Galileo recently on various platforms (Mac, Linux, Windows), and Galileo's p2 doesn't seem to require a "p2 Update Site".

Also, I just successfully installed the latest IMP build into Helios (3.6M5). At least it doesn't have claim to have any problems with the update site as it is right now.

So if p2 has such a requirement, it's hiding it well. :-)

Hi Robert

Thanks, I can build now but not install or test, which on Galileo/Helios seems to require a p2 Update Site. See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=303424.

[I presume you're still using Ganymede and Java 4 since the IMP source code has numerous Java generic warnings.]

Hi, sorry, forgot to move the archive into the proper directory. It's fixed now.

Hi Robert
There's a new release of IMP available on the IMP update site:

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/imp/updates/

Great; the changed lpg.runtime.java dependency means that I can now do an M2M/QVT Hudson build against LPG from the Orbit Update Site Archive and IMP from SVN.
and, for those who prefer, as an archive, on the downloads page:

http://download.eclipse.org/technology/imp/
Unfortunately the current release link to http://download.eclipse.org/technology/imp/org.eclipse.imp.update_0.1.v201003141548.zip is broken so I cannot do an M2M/QVTd Hudson build against LPG from the Orbit Update Site Archive and IMP from the IMP Update Site Archive. Attempting to do a Hudson build against LPG from the IMP Update Site and IMP from the IMP Update Site again encounters the conflicting LPGs problem with the Orbit one.

Please upload the IMP Update Site Archive.
