Re: [higgins-dev] Android question

Title: Re[2]: [higgins-dev] Android question

Hi David,

The only reasonable alternative we know at this moment to invoke icard selector on Android's default browser is the same as on IPhone - we could implement bookmarklet based invocation but this work has had to be postponed due to other priorities.

Hello all,

Excuse me for this old thread resurrection but is the one that contains more information of all I found and I did not see a reason for starting a new fresh thread.

I would like to know if the alternative invoke method is available by any way or if it is still under development (or just cancelled). Building and installing browser plugin seems to require root access and that is not something that a common user would do with his device. IPhone alternative method works fine and is transparent to the user.

There is any alternative way to invoke Android selector using server microcode?

Thanks,

Hello.

There is an other possible way to install Android I-Card Selector on

actual Android device. It is the using of local Android proxy server

instead of browser plugin. Local proxy server performs the following

functions:

    * injection _javascript_ into all web pages;

    * processing requests from _javascript_.

At now we discuss it.
