3.  [Markus] Should IdAS authentication materials be just a Java Object?

  • Would it make sense to  
    1. Define  an identifier for every common type of authn materials.
    2. Have  an IAuthnMaterials interface that defines method for (de-)serializing authn  materials?
  • OTIS REST [3] has solved both problems by inventing its own authn material identifiers and serialization structures.


5.  [Anubhav] Swordfish and OSPERA (Pending RSVP for this week)

  • OSPERA is using the Higgins STS   
  • Has  implemented renew functionality in the Higgins STS  via an extension   
  • Offering to donate this to Higgins    
  • Offering to deliver a Swordfish binding


6. [Paul] Tweaks to home page

  • See [4] - minor editing pass
  • Eliminated links to Higgins 1.0 and 1.1 solutions in each column —just click on “learn more...” if you want to see them. They were a bit redundant.
  • Minor editing pass on [5]; cleaned up HTML markup —there was a lot of legacy cruft in there
