Hi Stefan,
wasn't there a paper on that example at the 2010 TTC? That might be
helpful for Jerry. In general, we really have to extend our examples
collection and make it more accessible for the users. We should
discuss that next week too...
Cheers,
Christian
Jerry,
in Henshin's examples plugin you will find a transformation which
takes an EMF model as input and then generates a corresponding
GenModel. While the transformation itself is pretty complex, it
will, however, show you how to deal with exogenous
transformations. Actually, the difference between endogenous and
exogenous transformation is not that big; you just have to use a
parameter returning the root element of the newly created model to
be stored.
If you encounter further problems, don't hesitate to post to this
mailing list again.
Best regards,
Stefan

Hi all,
I have used Henshin to successfully accomplish some
endogenous transformations, but when moving on to exogenous
transformation it seems to work against me. Even with the
simplest (meta)models and the simplest Henshin rule, I can get
no more than a "Not Successful Execution of the rule".
Could you point (or send) me some runnable exogenous
example code using Henshin? Thank you.
