bharath,
i installed the samples, flow and logic. i
have tried both samples and neither have a "turn grid on" option that i can
find. can you tell me how to turn them on? i looked in the source,
but wasn't quite sure what to look for.
all,
also, there appears to be some kind of "snap to
grid" constant in the GridLayer object. can someone show me an example in
code of using such functionality?
thanks,
steve

Hi steve,
Download the GEF
logic example, it has source code from which you can
figure out how to draw a grid.
Gluck.
Bharath.

grid
i am very new to GEF. i want
to create a viewer that contains a grid (and can be turned off). it
appears that the ScalableFreeformRootEditPart contains a GridLayer and
GridLayer has methods to add a grid. The GridLayer has a method called
paintGrid which has the JavaDoc saying the grid needs to be enabled. i
cannot figure out how to enable the grid. Can someone tell me how to
enable the grid and display the grid on the
ScrollingGraphicViewer.
