The DORII middleware is basing on g-Lite.

Here is an URL with some info on the IE services:
http://www.dorii.eu/resources:adaptation:middleware:IE

Basically it provides a webservice which can be used to trigger actions (state
transitions (on/off/...) and commands (move somewhere, upload data to
SE, ...)).
Since g-Eclipse "only" has a workflow editor, not a workflow engine (since
g-Eclipse is meant as a client), a workflow engine would need to have support
for IEs. I'm not sure if anything like this exists yet.
As far as I know Kasia is working on a workflow editor (outside of g-Eclipse)
and an engine which also supports IEs in the DORII project.

Kind regards,
Thomas
