no, of course that wouldn't be the correct behaviour 
if  "lfn:et/romeojuliet.txt"  was the file that you 'registered' from 
gEclipse using the "xray.vo.eu-egee.org" VO proxy.

However, this sounds strange to me, because i very much dubt that that SE 
in Poland would allow you to upload a file with the xray VO proxy if they 
do not support that VO!!!  (that would be a big security hole from their 
part)

Moreover, that srm:// URI points to a path in the geclipse VO 
(...dpm/reef.man.poznan.pl/home/geclipse/...)

Did this  lcg-lr lfn:et/romeojuliet.txt  command (in the gLite UI i guess)
finish successfully?
ie, was that file really there in that SE???
