Re: [epp-dev] EPP 2021-12 RC1

Hi everyone,

The 2021-12 RC1 release has been published.

https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/packages/release/2021-12/rc1

Please note that there is a patch in the works to make sure .dmg urls are prefered over .tar.gz for Mac OS links but is not live yet. This change will be live next week.

Let me know if you have any questions. You can also refer to the following bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=576532

Thanks.

Hi everyone,

Our next milestone build is available for testing: EPP 2021-12 RC1

There are a range of issues / things to note:

- The php package has not had a report back that they work in more than a couple of release cycles. It is known to not work and I will raise with the planning council what to do with it, but removing it may be needed. See https://github.com/eclipse/pdt/issues/122

I have been following the steps on https://hackmd.io/@jonahgraham/eclipse-epp-release-process - you can see the checkmarks as to what is done.

EPP was built with the p2 repositories at:

https://download.eclipse.org/staging/2021-12 and

Please test and send your +1 to this mailing list. +1s are optional as the package will be published anyway.

Last +1 received for each package and platform (apologies if I missed one of your +1 emails, just let me know and I will update LastRecorded+1.txt)
