Re: [epp-dev] EPP 4.6.1 RC4 (Neon.1 RC4) packages

OFF TOPIC, a bit.

When I got this email, the URLS for the downloads and update site had been re-written. For one example, to

https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__download.eclipse.org_technology_epp_packages_neon_SR1-2DRC4&d=DQMFaQ&c=ZgVRmm3mf2P1-XDAyDsu4A&r=xqcIXwAVof_3Qt-nKwrKJEeLlCC3meO2e8TqlTQYLsQ&m=b2Djpp8GrX3tNIlSvYxyVoykMllMGXfDhCffr8VIupQ&s=DuFPwTrIj56IOhWTtGhYGAp98YF5Q0AxavIi7KinRtI&e=

Is this a bad thing? Or a good thing that "Opentext's" mail servers just happen to insert?
According to information on this site:
https://techarticles.uark.edu/security/phishing_scams/
it is a good thing. A legitimate business and method to protect against "phishing scams", but for all I know that site is part of the scam too! :)

[The only reason I noticed is my mail client (Thunderbird) gave a "scam warning" for *this* message, since the URL had been re-written in a way it did not recognize. (I am guessing).]

Just wondering.

Subject: [epp-dev] EPP 4.6.1 RC4 (Neon.1 RC4) packages

Dear package maintainers,

this week it is about the final build for Neon.1 which we call RC4... the packages that will be released next week are ready for testing:

  https://hudson.eclipse.org/packaging/job/neon.epp-tycho-build/437/artifact/org.eclipse.epp.packages/archive/

Upgrades can be tested by adding

  http://download.eclipse.org/technology/epp/packages/neon/SR1-RC4
  http://download.eclipse.org/staging/neon/

to the list of active p2 repositories.

Thanks for testing,

Markus
