[epp-dev] RE: Open Questions for "JavaME" Package build.

Christian,

You are more than welcome to participate in the conference call tomorrow but
I would suggest it might not be a great use of your time. Right now we are
working on setting up the infrastructure to use p2 to create the EPP
packages. It is unfortunately taking longer that we had hoped.

Once we get the infrastructure setup then we will be able to provide
instructions on how the package maintainers need to create their packages.
For instance, here is the documentation for last year
http://wiki.eclipse.org/EPP/How_to_create_a_package

I have also provided some more answers on the bug entry.

Ian

Subject: Open Questions for "JavaME" Package build.

Hi Markus,

After the initial creation of the "JavaME" package for Galileo, there is
still a few open questions from our side.

(See Bug: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=259563)
Gustavo is currently on vacation, but Diego and David are working on
those issues now.
Can you please let them know how to proceed?

Also - Ian and myself agree that we should rename the package from
"JavaME" to "Pulsar".

Can you please confirm that you are looking into this?

Would it help you or be more efficient if a representative of the MTJ
project joins your EPP project calls?
How do other projects handle this? Do you have representatives from the
other key components in your calls, or is it strictly EPP committers?

If you dont mind, I'll ask one of the engineers to join your call tomorrow:

Wednesday, April 29, 11amET/5pmCET

Thanks for your support,

Christian Kurzke
