I am trying to create a sfx archive definition xml file and I am having problems.

The <dir path="..."/> does not seem to work.
I'm assumed that if you add a directory the archive will add the directory and all of it's subdirectories.

I found that is not the case (by tracing the code under the debugger).

What does the <dir path="..." /> entry do?

Also once the archive exe is created is there a way to turn on verbose output to see what it is doing?
