Bjorn, thanks for your reply. I'll add
to the slides the two items you mentioned below.
Regarding the external epfwiki.net,
we understand that there are legal implications in harvesting the content
that has been contributed in there. I started discussing with Janet that
very topic when I met her at the EclipseCon this year, but I haven't heard
yet an official position on how to proceed with this. She mentioned the
board would need to discuss that issue. Do you have any inside information?
We are making sure that we don't add
any content to the project without IP legal review. So far the wiki has
been used for reviews of content and comments. Another major work that
the wiki facilitates is the translation of content, which is moving forward
pretty fast. The time is coming when we will need to harvest this translated
content and make it officially available, so Janet's team advice on how
to proceed will be appreciated.
Thanks again,

Ricardo,
Looks good, so go ahead and schedule a review. I have two minor comments:
(1) you need page numbers; (2) you need a copyright statement in addition
to the EPL statement. I have one major concern that you will need
to address: I am concerned that content from the external epfwiki.net has
leaked into the Eclipse EPF project without proper IP legal review. This
sort of "creep" is why we prefer using eclipse.org hosted infrastructure
rather than externally hosted infrastructure. So when you request your
IP approval for release from Janet's team, she'll need to understand whether
any external content was used in the creation of EPF and if so, what IP
controls/checks were applied. Thanks.
But, hey, enough grumping - this is very cool!
