[epf-dev] VOTE: Architecture Task Names

Hi

Following discussion in today's Architecture Package call, I'd like your
input on the following bugzilla item :
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=157415

This bug is about names for Architecture Tasks. It was raised recently by
Peter Haumer, with support from Scott Ambler and Ana Valente Pereira.

Looking at this, I agree with the point being made and I want to make sure
that we as a committer group are comfortable with the Task names, even
though this is rather late in the day.

It's pretty important, which is why I want to refer it to the whole EPF
committer community for a vote. Please post your votes as comments on the
bugzilla entry .

For obvious reasons, I would like to get this issue finalised by Thursday
please.

Please read the bug entry for background.

The Vote is on the following;

To name the approximation of the RUP "architectural analysis" task to:
Define the Architecture OR Analyze Architectural Requirements

To name the approximation of the old Objectory "Architecture Design" task
to:
Refine the Architecture OR Develop the Architecture OR Design the
Architecture

I have resisted the temptation to add a further "any other suggestions"
option for voting, as I would like to see one of the choices emerge with
more than one vote. But if a viable alternative emerges, then of course we
can go with that.

I cast my own votes as follows
1. Analyze Architectural Requirements
2. Develop the Architecture

Thanks for your help

cheers

Mark
