Re: [egit-dev] Internal API's or not

commit  eb3ab408ac25028e99825e9a4792d2ea0e5b2f16 was merged
declaring all egit packages internal, packages didn't change to not break
any clients. Please open enhancement requests against EGit core
with details on what API you need externally. Tag these enhancement
requests with [API] in the bug's title.

Buckminster uses egit repository management and project team sharing when materializing the workspace. We can live with x-internal warnings but not exporting the API's at all would make life a bit difficult for us.

My claim is that the classes inside EGIt, with very few exceptions are for internal use
only, but then I really don't know how tied up we by users today. Can we ban callers
outside the EGit realm to some extent?
